For the organic waste recycling industry, carbon trading brings both economic and ecological benefits to enterprises. Through the implementation of carbon trading, the return on project investment can be improved while expanding financing channels, developing carbon assets, green bonds, and green Funds and other financial assets; large energy companies can also improve their corporate image by investing in low-carbon biogas projects, optimizing their green industrial layout, and improving their sustainable development capabilities.
It is worth mentioning that bio-natural gas is currently the only mature "negative carbon emission" energy source. HEEE continues to explore carbon emission reduction
HEEE is a pioneer in carbon emission reduction in the biogas field. During the clean development mechanism CDM project period, Hangneng Environment has invested in the carbon trading market. The Shandong Minhe 3MW biogas power generation project of Hangneng Environmental Construction was successfully registered in the Clean Development Mechanism Executive Board (CDM EB) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2009. It is the first large-scale clean development mechanism (CDM) project of biogas project registered in my country , The annual emission reduction can reach 66,000 tons of CO2 equivalent.

The large-scale biogas power generation technology demonstration projects built by HEEE, such as Beijing Deqingyuan 2MW Biogas Power Generation Project and Inner Mongolia Mengniu Aoya Ranch Biogas Power Generation Project, were successfully registered in CDM EB in 2010 and 2011, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 57,000 tons.
